Lesley Ann Warren ~ A Night in Heaven

Lesley Ann Warren ~ A Night in Heaven/Double Audio Track

Bryan Adams ~ Heaven

Turned this into a mini-project. Why, you may ask. Always had the hots  for Lesley, ever since she appeared in the TV special Cinderella in 1965 and later when she was in one of my fav tv series, Mission: Impossible, I digress.

Re: the movie, yes Virginia, I actually paid money to see this turkey er chick flick back in the day, because it was R-Rated and was hoping Lesley would show some skin. Alas, the only redeeming quality was Jan Hammer's soundtrack & Bryan Adams' songs.

Started using Camtasia again recently and have been experimenting. Overdubbed Adams song Heaven in the 3rd brightened vid.

Trivia, for someone so hot in her day and even now, she was/is terrified of screen nudity. In Victor/Victoria she had agreed to do a nude scene when she was on the train, but because of this terror/fear lol and because he felt the scene was gratuitous, Blake Edwards decided not to do the scene w/Lesley nude and instead she appeared in lingerie. Damn!

Early life

Warren was born in New York City to a Jewish family whose surname was originally "Woronoff". The 5-foot-8 inch actress began her career as a ballet dancer, training at the School of American Ballet.

Career

Warren entered the Actors Studio at the age of 17 — reputedly the youngest applicant ever to be accepted. Her Broadway debut came in 1963 in the musical, 110 in the Shade.

Having failed to obtain the role of Liesl in the film version of The Sound of Music, Warren's first major television success was in the title role of Rodgers and Hammerstein's television special, Cinderella, in 1965. She later replaced Barbara Bain as the leading female in the Mission: Impossible team during the 1970-1971 television season.

For her portrayal of a dim-witted gangster's moll in the 1982 musical-comedy Victor/Victoria, Warren was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
